About this role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to help grow our customer base. The SDR will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads as well as generating outbound leads. As the first point of interaction for most prospective clients, the ideal SDR candidate will possess great written and verbal communication skills. As a remote team, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proficient at managing their time to drive results. We hope that the person hired for this role will grow into a full account management role after acclimating to our company, product, and sales process.
What you will do:
Contact and qualify all inbound leads.
Identify, contact, and qualify outbound leads.
Create and A/B test messaging to maximize lead generation.
Educate prospective customers about how our solutions can meet their needs.
Schedule demos between prospects and account managers.
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
Gather feedback from customers and share with the product team to help drive the product roadmap.
Update and maintain CRM all ShortPoint systems used to manage the sales process.
Phone calls and emails to maintain consistent communication with clients.
Provide customer quotations upon request.
Answering tickets, acting as customer support in sales & licensing related matters
Job requirements
What Are We Looking For?
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
1-year previous experience in a sales or customer service capacity.
College degree preferred.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to handle complex problems
Customer-first orientation.
Experience in a SaaS is a plus.
Track record of producing results independently in a remote work environment.
